Can you believe the guy is still a Prince after 40 years?
Last year, we launched an initiative to celebrate our passion for exploration-driven action games through the Metroidvania Book Club. Our inaugural title was a classic: a 2008 Castlevania game, which perfectly fits our retro theme.
This time, we’re taking a different approach: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown breaks away from Metroids and Vanias, and it’s not a retro release either. Yet, given the rich legacy of the Prince of Persia series, join host Jeremy Parish and returning guests Stuart Gipp, Chris Sims, and Kate Willaert as they dive into the latest game, hoping you’ll join them on this adventure too.
Don’t forget! We have a dedicated channel for our Metroidvania Book Club on the Retronauts Discord, accessible to all Patreon supporters at the $5 tier (or higher). Your insights can shape our follow-up podcast!
Description: Jeremy Parish, Kate Willaert, Chris Sims, and Stuart Gipp embark on their next community playthrough (Prince of Persia: The Lost Sands), discussing the game’s history and sharing listener feedback on the first part of the journey.
Retronauts thrives thanks to listener support via Patreon! By contributing, you gain access to ad-free episodes, early releases, improved audio, and exclusive content. Discover more at patreon.com/retronauts.
