Indeed, there are numerous versions of Space Invaders for the Commodore 64. This PETSCII adaptation was ported from the original Commodore PET game created by Jimbo.

– Respawning aliens that come back for more
– Vibrant colors
– Sound effects by Richard Bayliss
– Built-in cheats that are seldom used
– Smoother bullets that can occupy space alongside aliens, utilizing either half of a character block
The game was initially developed by Jimbo, who generously shared the source code, allowing me to bring this C64 version to you.
