Indie Retro News: Master of Minefields

Digital Worlds Studio is currently working on their version of the classic game Minesweeper for the Commodore Amiga, titled ‘Master of Minefields’. The game requires players to clear the board of numbers without encountering exploding bombs, using clues about the number of adjacent mines. The creator has shared that the game will participate in AmiGameJam 2024 and features 8 variants of Minesweeper in 10 game modes. Some of the game’s features include 64 colors on screen, 10 game modes, over 350 stages, progress saving, and support for various controllers. The game is a tribute to the creator’s first game developed on the Amiga in the 90s. More information can be found on the developer’s website.
