The recent announcement of **Leisure Suit Larry: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards** making its way to the C64 has generated quite a buzz. However, if you’re looking for something similar right now, check out **Herra 47: Midsummer Festival** by Vector5 Games. One of our readers described it as “pretty much the blueprint for a Sierra-style adventure.” While it may have less text and complexity, it definitely captures that nostalgic essence. Don’t miss the latest video footage below! Special thanks to our readers for bringing this gem to our attention!
This game boasts 39 rooms to explore, three mini-games, a unique storyline, plenty of lighthearted humor, and a convenient save/load system, all reminiscent of classic Sierra adventures. The plot centers on Herra 47, who, amidst the excitement of the Midsummer Festival, has a personal goal beyond just hosting the event: to find a meaningful companion to share the warmth of the bonfire and the magic of the summer nights.
