It seems like just yesterday that I discussed SausageWareGames’ fantastic reimagining of Knightmare for the ZX Spectrum. This enjoyable version of the classic game, inspired by the beloved kids’ TV show from the 1980s, truly deserves praise. Now, the developer is back in the spotlight, as they plan to release S.C.I.O.N through BitmapSoft in the near future, hopefully by spring. This new title promises an intense run-and-gun experience, showcased in the latest trailer via X.

In S.C.I.O.N, you join the Special Covert Infiltration Operations Network, also known as S.C.I.O.N. This secret inter-governmental agency is committed to dismantling the toughest multinational criminal organizations. Your journey will take you through perilous jungles and treacherous swamps to infiltrate the hidden underground headquarters of Maz Mort’s notorious Morticians Gang. Once inside, your mission is to locate the reactor that powers the base, overload it, and make a quick escape. Stay alert and utilize your SCION comms device to keep resupplied and upgraded.
