- No mainboard modifications or soldering required on the computer side.
- Easy pairing by following the native bluetooth pairing instructions of your controller/keyboard. No action required on the computer side, other than turning it on.
- Easy firmware upgrades through the built-in micro-SD card slot (SD-card not included).
- PCB is the same for all revisions. Just choose for which type you are going to use it, and we’ll solder the connector on the appropriate side for you.

SPL HD-64
The HD-64, designed and manufactured by SPL, is a modern modulator replacement for the Commodore 64, that creates crystal clear HDMI output, by digitally creating the video signal directly from an existing VIC-II chip or Kawari.
Features:
- Replaces the stock modulator.
- Micro HDMI out provided through bv RF opening in case
- Full-HD (50 for PAL, 60 for NTSC) HDMI output with stereo audio
- < 1ms latency
- Configurable color-palette scanlines, “blur” (or “anti-aliasing”), aspect ratio, mono-stereo audio
- Analog to digital audio conversion up to two SID channels
- Automatic PAL/NTSC detection
- Compatible with all original motherboards (including shortboard)
- Shortboard version draws power from original modulator pins, longboard needs additional wire.
- Analog video still available on AV connector, both composite and S-Video
- S-Video voltage corrected to work on any standard CRT (that supports S-Video)
- Firmware updates via USB-C
- Future capabilities already beeing worked on: configurable scaling (integer scaling, overscan)

SPL HD-64 mounting bracket

High quality 3D printed mounting bracket with brass screw inserts for the SPL HD-64 HDMI modulator.
Fits all original revision longboard models and clones. While this bracket is best suited for longboard revisions (as it allows to fix the bracket with screws from the bottom),
you can mount it in shortboards, but you might need to use glue or tape to fix the bracket as there are no suitable mounting holes big enough to allow screws in.Includes 2xm2 and 4xm3 nylon screws.
