Hoyster Games has created a new arcade shooter called ‘Galactic Plague’ using the Scorpion Engine. This game is a result of the developer’s long-held desire to make a game that dates back to 1992. The developer shares early footage of the game below.
“Galactic Plague” is a project that has been in the developer’s mind since their teenage years. After dabbling with SEUCK in the past, the developer revisited the idea in 2023, eventually switching to the Scorpion Engine due to technical difficulties. Despite facing challenges, the developer has enjoyed the learning process and is dedicated to completing the game.
The current video showcases the first four levels of the game, with more updates expected in the future. Stay tuned for further developments!
That’s all the information available for now, but more updates will be shared as soon as they are available 🙂
