In a recent article, I mentioned JOTD’s impressive track record of creating conversions and ports, including popular games like Moon Patrol, Donkey Kong, and Super Xevious. Now, JOTD has announced an almost complete Arcade to Amiga version of ‘Pooyan’. This new build of the game is said to be almost 100% complete, fully playable, with most sounds in place and no music.
If you’re not familiar with Pooyan, it was an Arcade game released in 1982 by Konami. The game features Mamma Pig defending her home and rescuing her baby piglets from wolves that float down using balloons in the first stage. Stay tuned for the official release, and I’ll update this article with the final version.
