In August 2022, I announced the launch of LC-Games’ high-quality title “Mike Mech” for the Commodore 64, where players battled aliens invading a spaceship. Fast forward to this week: LC-Games has released the sequel, “Mike Mech 2.” This arcade platformer is receiving great reviews from players, with comments like, “Another fantastic game from you! Keep them coming!” and “I love Mike Mech, so I’m thrilled about the sequel!” Check out some gameplay footage below.
According to the latest updates on the website, “The game takes place on a cargo spaceship, which, during one of its many trips to transport minerals to the home planet Gravion, gets invaded by alien beings. Players must guide Mike, the ship’s mechanic, through four cargo holds and activate all the levers. Avoiding the aliens is crucial, as Mike has no defenses, and any contact, even with the cooling fans found in some areas, can be fatal.”
