

Boulder Dash is a game that takes me back to my Apple II days in the mid-80s. Initially launched on the Atari 8-bit series, it expanded to nineteen platforms over the following six years. Created by Peter Liepa and Chris Gray, this maze game challenges players to dig through layers of dirt in search of diamonds. Later iterations included a construction set feature, allowing users to design their own levels. I fondly remember crafting my own Boulder Dash and Lode Runner levels, spending countless hours immersed in gameplay.
