American Pinball recently announced the production of 100 units of a new “Classic” Edition of its Galactic Tank Force pinball machine, set for release in 2025. This Classic version will have a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $7,995, which is $1,000 lower than the previous lowest model, the “Deluxe” Edition. To achieve this reduced price, American Pinball will be removing several features found in the Deluxe Edition, including Magic Glass, inner art blades, the Aura Lighting system, the knocker, and potentially the PCB that controls the robot and UFO movements.
The distributor Pinball Traders will showcase several American Pinball machines at the upcoming Texas Pinball Festival (TPF) from March 21 to 23. Among the machines featured will be Hot Wheels, Houdini, Legends of Valhalla, Barry O’s BBQ Challenge, and Galactic Tank Force. They will also offer discounts on both New in Box and floor models, providing savings of $500 on NIB machines and $1,000 to $5,000 on games set up at the event.
As of now, there is no information or rumors regarding whether American Pinball’s next game, Cuphead, will be showcased at TPF.
