We’ve just received exciting gaming news from Saberman: Zbigniew Ross, the creator of Yoomp!64, has launched a port of the game for the Commodore Amiga. A previous feature on IndieRetroNews covered Yoomp!64’s release by RGCD and Psytronik Software on the C64, which was a port of the Atari XE/XL version. To accompany this announcement, we have gameplay footage and additional information.

The latest iteration of “Amiga Yoomp! is a high-speed arcade game that brings the classic gameplay of its Commodore 64 and Atari predecessors to the 16-bit Amiga platform. Players control a bouncing ball through 3D-textured tubes filled with various types of tiles, each with unique properties. The objective is to collect points while avoiding traps and hazards that could end the game. Yoomp! is optimized to run smoothly on a range of Amiga systems, including the A500, A600, A1200, CDTV, and CD32, providing retro gaming enjoyment.”
