Upcoming Port: Vigilante by Neeso Games from Sega Master System to Amiga on Indie Retro News

Indie Retro News: Vigilante - Neeso Games Sega Master System to Amiga port is still coming!

There is an upcoming game to keep an eye on: Vigilante. Originally released as a poor port to the Commodore Amiga, the game is now being ported to the Amiga platform by Neeso Games using the Scorpion Engine, based on the Sega Master System version. The creator mentioned preferring this version over the arcade port because of its visual appeal. The arcade port to Amiga was not well received, hence the decision to create a new port using the Master System version.

According to the website, “This is my attempt to port Vigilante from Sega Master System to Amiga. Why Vigilante and why Master System? First of all Amiga already has a (poor) Vigilante arcade port, but I prefer the Master System version because it’s more colorful and has more personality, more NEESO style”.
