Experience a playable demo showcasing the game engine, collision detection, graphics, and animation of one of the most anticipated Commodore 64 games currently in development.
The project is spearheaded by Radek Burkat, who is focused on creating a true-to-form arcade port of Elevator Action for the Commodore 64.
This marks my inaugural attempt at a C64 game, and I’m dedicated to crafting the best possible arcade port for this platform.
Key Features and Gameplay
- Two-player mode (using joystick 1 and joystick 2): play as the spy or the agent and compete to outsmart each other.
- Select between the roles of agent and spy.
- Jump from a stationary position.
- Shoot with a maximum of two bullets active in the air at any time.
- The opponent respawns after five hits.
- Engage in close combat: jump attack to hit your opponent.
- Score an instant win if jumping onto a stationary opponent.
- Lights out: a knockout results in the screen going dark, and a hit from a falling lamp will result in defeat.
- Utilize the escalator to move up or down while standing on the red carpet.
Soundtrack and effects are composed by Vidar Bang (DMX).
