We have received emails informing us that the classic game ‘Manic Miner’ by Matthew Smith, originally released in 1983, has been re-released as an impressive unofficial PC remake by Langford Productions. This is the same creator behind other remakes such as PSSST, Cookie, The Hunch, and Project ZX. Saberman has created a gameplay video which can be viewed below.
The creator states, “Check out my Willy! Miner Willy, in this expanded remake of Matthew Smith’s classic ZX Spectrum game. Play the original twenty caverns or choose from twenty new ones, or let the game decide for you. You can even play with subdued lighting, darkening the caverns and using Willy’s hard hat light.”
