Red Art Games has announced that the Western version of MACROSS -Shooting Insight- will now be released on February 7, 2025 in North America and Europe on Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PS4 digitally. This game is the latest adaptation of the legendary anime franchise MACROSS and marks the first official release of a MACROSS video game on consoles in the West.
Additionally, physical versions of MACROSS -Shooting Insight- will be released later this year. The game, developed by Kaminari Games, features a Multi-Dimensional Shooting Game with various gameplay styles and a story that brings together pilots and songstresses from different MACROSS dimensions.
Fans can pre-order the European physical versions from Red Art Games’ official online store and the ESRB-rated copies from VGP’s online store. The game includes characters from five MACROSS series, original fan-favorite songs, and different gameplay styles in each level.
The Western version of MACROSS -Shooting Insight- comes with the game’s latest update on disc, offering improvements in difficulty settings, continues feature, music adjustments, and quality of life enhancements. Players can now restart from the same stage after a “Game Over” and enjoy a faster HP recovery rate.
