Today, we learned that ‘Sabre Wulf’ is on its way to the C64 as a complete remaster by Genesis Project. Originally released in 1984 by Ultimate Play the Game for platforms including ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, C64, and Amstrad CPC, this classic is making a comeback with stunning remastered graphics and a stylish loader. Work on #SabreWulfRemastered continues. Today, the Tribal Man is finally in and moving around. We have 12 of these in the map, each set to patrol their own little zone. They’re different from the critters as they can move between screens. #C64 #RetroGame pic.twitter.com/wvj8NprUJm

It’s amazing to reflect on the number of Ultimate Play the Game articles featured on Indie Retro News over the years. Not only have we enjoyed titles like Melkhior’s Mansion and Alien-8 on the C64, but we’ve also covered classics such as Knightlore and Gunfright Ultimate Edition. While we currently don’t have more details on the Sabre Wulf Remaster, we will keep you updated as soon as we receive new information.
