Exciting news! Just released, with a touch of nostalgia in the phrase “Hot off the Press.” As promised in my previous post revealing the new pinball machine Ramp’s Road Trip, we now have exclusive gameplay footage for everyone. Paul Fusco, a friend of the game’s designer, kindly sent us this unlisted video of the game in action at the recent Pinball at the Beach show.
Take a look at the game’s unique feature – the “dynamic playfield” with a rotating pop bumper/ramp mechanism in the upper right corner. It’s absolutely cool. Although the game is currently in its early stage of development (Version 0.3), the Ramp’s team wanted to showcase it at the show for playtesting.
I’m eager to see how the game evolves in terms of code by its next public appearance at the Texas Pinball Festival in mid-March.
