If you have fond memories of playing Castle of Illusion, World of Illusion, or Mickey Mania on consoles like the Sega Mega Drive, then you’ll be excited to hear about the latest news. DomKid, the creator behind games like the Castlevania fan game Maria Renard’s Revenge, is currently working on a new game called ‘Forest of Illusion’ using the Scorpion Engine. According to him, this game is inspired by the classic series mentioned above and features improvements and additions to the Ansimuz graphic art. To complement this update, we have included the original video from 2023 as well as the latest gameplay video posted recently!

Although Forest of Illusion is still in the alpha stage of development, early previews suggest it will offer stunning graphics, Parallax backgrounds, charming animations, various enemy types, and a nostalgic tribute to classic Sega Mickey games. Stay tuned for more updates!
Update : A new level 3 video has been added. The developer mentioned, “Forest of Illusion – Amiga CD32/1200 with Scorpion Engine Wip demo – level 3.”
