Most of you have probably heard of the popular game series, ‘Metal Slug’, which has been well-loved in the gaming community since the days of the Neo Geo system. A team of fans known as Division 六 is currently working on a game called ‘Aqua Ippan’, which is a tribute to Metal Slug. This game, still in development, can be played right now in its first demo release.

The website describes Aqua Ippan as, “Heavily inspired by arcade games from the 90s, Aqua Ippan is a ‘Shoot’em Up’/platformer game currently in development that can be played by one or two player(s). Despite being a modern game, it feels and plays like a true arcade classic, and pays homage to the Metal Slug series with its artstyle, detailed animations and jazz-fusion music”. Fans of Metal Slug are sure to enjoy Aqua Ippan by Division 六!
