C64OS continues to improve with the release of Version 1.04, known as the Multimedia Release. This update introduces a new graphics file format called “Commodore Grafix” which supports metadata, variable frame rate sizes, native/non-native video modes, multi-frame matrix images, including 3D models, panoramas, and animation sequences. The Creator Tool and C64 Archiver have been enhanced, along with the addition of the new SID Preview Utility featuring a SID Search Service. Additionally, the gfx.lib now supports character-mode graphics, with some features requiring a RAM expander.
